13 months Logged In

Well I haven't updated this in awhile. I've now been logged in 13 months (almost 14)

I was re-fingerprinted Jan 2, 2007 because my finger prints expired back in Oct.

I sent in my home study update request and fee on Jan 9th or 10th. My home study is scheduled for Feb 6th.

I sent in my I600A application on Jan 26th along with that fee. I got the confirmation that they received it Monday Jan 29.

Four Months Logged In!

I've been logged in for four full months now. The wait seems to have increased dramatically, at least 12 months, possibly longer. It's about to kill me, but I'm hanging in there.
I miss Emily.

New & Improved LID

From an email from my agency:
I just got your log in date today. 12/8/05.

This means I've been logged in a good 3 weeks longer than I had thought. WOO HOO!! I'm doing the big time happy dance. It seems CCCAA has been dividing up months to give out referrals, so to be at the begining of the month is awesome news. YIPPEE!!!!

Jan 13, 2006

Still waiting for an official log in date from my agency. We've been DTC about 1.5 months now. AT is saying log in date estimated at 12/30/05, but sneaking around asking other people, I think we were probably logged in sooner, Dec 16-20. Nothing is official of course, so i'm just wishful thinking at this point. I'm hoping to see Emily for the first time around Thanksgiving of this year. WOO HOO!

NOV 17th

I received the BROWN ENVELOPE today from the American Consulate in Guangzhou. ooooh ahhhh. Basically it means that they have received my approval from the US to bring in an adopted child and make her an american citizen. It has all sorts of paperwork in this evelope, stuff to fill out to get Emily a visa so she can travel from China to the US. I've been told not to touch this stuff until I actually get to China. This packet also has a map of where the consulate is located, and some cool looking stuff in Chinese. It's official, they know I'm coming for Emily. I'm so excited right now!!!
